What is Race for Education?
Each year the whole school participates in a Race for Education event, which is our only direct ask fundraising event. It’s a lot of fun for the kids since prizes & parties are involved. We hope you’ll participate!
What’s the timeline?
Tuesday, September 26th - Kick off assembly. Think of this like a good ‘ol pep rally! Students will come home with information about how to register and collect donations
In between those dates - Fundraising - See details below on how to collect donations
Thursday, October 12th - Race day!
Students compete to run the most laps just for fun & enjoy pizza. Please come cheer them on.
What’s the goal?
Our goal is for each student to raise $250 so we can reach our school goal of $35,000.
The funds raised will be used to:
Expand our educational subscriptions
Purchase new technology
Fund fun PTO-hosted events
+much more!
Who can donate?
Anyone! Students are encouraged to ask their extended family members, coaches, neighbors, tutors, etc. for a donation to support St. Louis.
How can we donate?
There are 2 ways to donate money.
1. Online via Greater Giving. To get started, each student needs to register and create his/her own fundraising page. Then he/she can share that personal page with friends & family members.
OR
2. Drop a check or cash in an envelope with the student’s name off with Lori Welty at the front desk.
Note: The number of laps a student runs on race day is not tied to the amount of donations they collect.
